Miho first came to Australia in 1992 on a working holiday visa and traveled throughout Australia and Europe taking photographs. She worked for a company specializing in commercial photographer's assistant service in Japan, studying studio lighting, location photography, and gained technical knowledge through being an assistant for many different commercial photographers. In 1995 she returned to Australia and started her own business as a photographer in 1997. Since then she has been working for editorial, advertising, stock, corporate and wedding photography.
